Lastly, why a movie? Is there something else we could do to help Bragg N East? Possibly. But I believe the hands-on work, and visibility of filming a movie in the community will be a vehicle for change and something that the residents will be excited to be involved in. The impact of movie is much more far-reaching than just doing work in the neighborhood. The movie will also be a way to change the hearts of viewers and inspire audiences. For those viewers who are not familiar with the neighborhood and see what life is really like in apart of our own city, it will open their eyes to how others live, and ignite compassion. By learning of the mission work that was done alongside the film, viewers will hear how God is working through ordinary people, like us filmmakers, to help change the world, starting with a neighborhood called Bragg N East.
